We have partnered with Earlybird to bring free learn & play drop ins to Uptown!
Earlybird provides anyone caring for children with the confidence, knowledge and resources they need to create child-centered and developmentally appropriate play-based learning experiences to ensure every child gets the strong start they deserve. Join us in the Earlybird space – a friendly, educational space where kids can explore helpful resources and activities to nurture creativity and curiosity.
The Earlybird space is located at #115 – 3531 Uptown Blvd, next to Salon Felice. Activity stations are designed for children 0-6 years old and focus on literacy, numeracy, art, social emotional and motor skills. Each session will end with story time and movement activities.
We understand that kids can be unpredictable and timing doesn’t always work out. Feel free to pop in anytime between 9:30am-11:30am on any of the dates below to hang out, even if it’s just a short time. Space is limited and first come first serve.

Earlybird was founded by Renée Jordan and Sarah Hunter. Renée is Anderson and Frances’ mum; but she is also a teacher and curriculum designer with degrees in education, child development, and instructional design from the University of Victoria and Columbia University. Sarah is mum to 3 boys under 5, a designer, and an entrepreneur. Renée and Sarah co-founded the Earlybird app to help parents make sense of the early years and ensure every child gets the strong start they deserve.
