The Courts at Uptown
Uptown is thrilled to announce the arrival of Pickleball in Saanich! Located at the crossroads of Carey Road and Ravine Way, The Courts at Uptown features two custom-built sport courts for your enjoyment.
Guests can play Pickleball daily from 6 AM to 9 PM. Reservations are required and can be made through our website. Please note you will be required to create a free membership. The cost is $20 per hour, per court. Each guest can book up to two hours per day with a maximum of 6 players per court.
Adjacent to The Courts, you’ll find The Park, a newly outfitted park area complete with comfortable seating to watch a game.

The Courts at Uptown are located on the North end of Uptown Boulevard, best accessed from the Carey Road entrance, near the underground parking.

FAQs
Reservations are required and must be made online. You may arrive to The Courts and a staff member can assist you with making your booking online. The Courts needs to be booked and paid for before you play.
The Courts are open from 6am to 9pm daily with a maximum of two hour bookings per person.
A maximum of 6 people per court, 4 on the court and 2 for rotation.
$20 per hour per court.
No, bookings are not refundable. Please read our cancellation policy when booking and contact Zoe: zoe.garcia@shape.ca with any questions regarding this policy.
No, your booking is not transferable.
There are is no where to lock any personal belongings. There are benches at your court for use while you play.
Uptown has public washrooms in L1 green, a short walk from The Courts.
The closest parking is L1 green. Access is off of Carey Road, proceed directly to the parkade.
Guests receive 3 hours free parking.
Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult (18 or older) to play at The Courts.
No food or drink is allowed on The Courts with the exception of your water bottle. Food and drink can be enjoyed before or after your play at The Park ( just outside of the court area).
Yes, the Courts are open rain or shine. In the event of a closure bookings will be notified and rescheduled.
Athletic sport shoes are required, we encourage you to dress in comfortable clothing suitable for sport.
No, unfortunately no pets are allowed in The Courts area.
