Overview:
Join our growing team at Wilderly, a houseplant store located in Uptown Shopping Centre. We specialize in a variety of common and exotic houseplants, terrarium plants, plant care products, plant pots, and nature-inspired handmade jewelry.

We’re looking for a passionate and energetic Sales Associate who loves plants and enjoys working in a customer-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

– Greet customers and assist them in selecting the right plants and products based on their preferences and needs.
– Provide expert advice on plant care, including watering, light requirements, repotting, and troubleshooting common plant problems.
– Maintain store displays, ensuring plants are healthy and the store is clean, organized, and inviting.
– Process sales transactions accurately using our POS system.
– Assist with inventory management, including restocking products and unpacking new plant shipments.
– Ensure plants are well-maintained, watered, and rotated as needed.
– Promote store events, special sales, and loyalty programs.
– Keep up to date with new plant arrivals, product information, and industry trends.
– Assist with creating a welcoming, positive, and plant-friendly environment for all customers.
-Track customer wishlist items.

Qualifications:

– Passion for houseplants and basic knowledge of plant care.
– Previous retail or customer service experience.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to identify priorities, multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and self-direct work.
– Detail-oriented and able to maintain high store presentation standards.
– Basic computer and POS system skills.
– Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Physical Requirements:
– Ability to stand for extended periods.
– Ability to lift up to 25 lbs to assist with plant stocking and display.
